Join Our Global Team. Are you an experienced Laser, SFX, or Pyro technician? We're growing our international network and want to work with the best.
WORK EXPERIENCE
We are always on the lookout for fresh new talent, but we understand how difficult it can be entering the world of work straight out of education.

Our work experience placements, allow students the opportunity to attend the Dartford, UK or Las Vegas, USA offices for unpaid experience in both the workplace and also the events industry.
We limit places to one student at a time, enabling them to get the most out of their time with our team, spending time across each department over the duration of their placement.

Students who are studying relevant courses or those that have an interest in the live events industry as a potential career, are welcome to apply.
WORK Placements
Our summer placement scheme is ideal for those exploring a career in live events and looking to gain a real insight into whats involved.

We provide paid placement opportunities over the summer, initially for 3 months, with the option to extend to 6 months for the right candidates. This gives successful candidates the opportunity to support ER through it's busiest months and offers hands on experience, working alongside our trained technicians.

This time could contribute towards your degree or qualification or set the scene for future employment.

Our intakes to date have seen 75% offered a permanent role at the end. 2026 saw 3 of the team move across into our Intern scheme.
Technical Show Internships
Each year we look out for enthusiastic and passionate young individuals to join our team as Technical Show Interns. Our vision is to set you up for success as you start your journey towards a fully trained Show Technician, able to bring our biggest and best productions to life!

The programme runs for 12-15 months, covers all aspects of the company including certified training courses and is aimed at those who are taking their first steps on the career ladder.

Once you've covered the basics and developed your technical knowledge, you will move up to a Trainee Show Technician, working on the road alongside your mentor who continues to support your growth and experience.

Regular knowledge and performance reviews focus your journey and help you to achieve each step required to secure your role as a Qualified technician.

But it doesn't end there! Unlike most Internships, we don't want to say goodbye after the training is finished. We hope that you will join our team permanently and continue to support the next team of trainees as they embark on ER's development journey.
