Having worked with Katy Perry on a number of her European TV performances, ER Productions are delighted to collaborate with her once again on the Prismatic World Tour. 

The UK leg kicks off at the Belfast Odyssey Arena on the 7th of May, 2014, before moving on to the U.S. and then the rest of the world.

After working with the show’s designer, Baz Halpin, on countless projects over the years he came to ER with a concept that was made for lasers. Tasked with creating a supersized laser prism, ER separated white light into primary RGB colours to map onto the edges of a triangular set, which can only be described as a masterpiece in stage design.

Additionally, ER Productions framed the ‘B’ stage with lasers to accompany Katy’s most popular numbers including This Moment, Love Me and Firework.
With so many international dates, ER Productions had to design a system that could be used by one technician. 

This is no mean feat considering the custom built rig, which supports the 315 watts of laser power used in the show, is ER’s largest ever.

Each Excellent 21 and Tripan laser used in the show can be independently controlled, using Pangolin racks. To ensure the highest levels of safety for performers, crew and the audience, ER E-Stop interfaces were built into the complex rig.

The team at ER are proud to be part of a tour, which has scored rave reviews for its visually arresting stage and lighting design.
