Once upon a time the name Miley Cyrus conjured up the image of a squeaky clean real life Disney princess. Today, Miley’s wrecking ball has knocked it clean out of the ball park leaving instead a highly stylised music mega star whose Bangerz album and resulting tour took the world by storm in 2014. 

Sliding down a giant tongue and making a grand entrance on stage, Miley was joined by a cavalcade of kitsch, life-sized, stuffed toys, a red and white checked horse, dancers and an equally wild display of lasers courtesy of ER Productions.

A key part of ER’s brief was that the laser show should peak during Miley’s performance of Wrecking Ball, her infamous single from the album.   Always ready to take on challenge involving lasers, ER Productions developed and built its first batch of blue Burstbox lasers to rig across the stage and bathe the entire arena in blue light.

For Miley’s dark and moody performance of Drive, ER Productions rigged 8-scanning lasers (with Taipan laser technology), filling the arena and upstage area with a high contrast laser look and encasing the signer in swirling laser light.  Lasers were integral during Miley’s performances of Party in the USA and Someone Else.

The tour was a roaring success and ER had a great time working on it!
